Layby Terms and Conditions

Adore Home Living offers up to 6-month layby on all full priced furniture store items. (We are unable to offer a layby on homewares, Floor stock items, or reduced end-of-line stock clearance items.) Minimum 10% deposit to be paid at the time of purchase, a further 20% payment at 1 month, then minimum 20% each month until finalise of layby. Failure to make schedule payments may result in cancellation, so please keep communication with Adore regarding your layby. A layby may be extended up to 12 months with prior approval.

Stock will not be held in our Warehouse until a Minimum of 30% deposit is made towards your Layby.

12 weeks' notice is required for the finalisation of layby, this allows Adore Home Living to make sure your order is available in the requested time frame and ready for collection or delivery. Adore Home Living aims to supply all goods within the time frame specified, unfortunately sometimes delays occur out of our control.

All laybys placed on 19/6 will expire on the 20th of December of the year of purchase, these orders must be finalised and scheduled for delivery (booked at least 7 days in advance of delivery date) by the 20th of December unless prior arrangements are made with the store.

If conditions of a layby are not adhered to Adore Home Living reserve the right to cancel your layby. Any deposit/monies paid will be issued as store credit less termination/cancellation fee. Alternatively, a refund can be issued less a termination/cancellation fee. This termination/cancellation fee is dependent on several factors and will be determined by Adore Home Living at the time of cancellation and is final.

Fees associated with layby Cancellations.

  • Administration fees: Minimum 20% of the Order Total
  • Storage fee (Stock Held in Warehouse or stores): 5% of the value of the products per month - storage fee will commence from the date of purchase – the fee is based on a calendar month or part thereof.
  • Any Markdown costs associated with the Order.

Cancellation of an order (GOODS THAT ARE PAID IN FULL AND HAVE NOT YET BEEN COLLECTED OR DELIVERED)

Please choose all furniture items carefully as we are unable to provide a refund where you have simply changed your mind, made a wrong selection or purchased an unsuitable gift. We recommend you carefully view all furniture items in store to ensure they are suitable.Cancellations of orders and lay-bys are not permitted under normal circumstances. However, subject to our discretion, an in-store credit voucher or refund may be issued equal to the deposit value (less any but not limited to Administration fees, storage fees, and any markdown costs associated with the order) in-store credit vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of issue.

  •  For full-priced items, upon presentation of your original invoice, we can offer the following: in-store credit, exchange, or a monetary refund minus any fees associated with the order.
  •  For sale items that are currently still in stock (excluding floor models for sale as ex-display) upon presentation of your original invoice, we can offer the following an in-store credit, exchange, or a monetary refund minus any fees associated with the order.
  • For sale items that are out of stock, clearance items, floor stock models, or special orders we are unable to offer a refund, exchange, or store credit.

What are markdown costs?

Markdown is a reduction of the product price, based on the inability to sell it at the initial price or original selling price. In other words, markdown is the difference between the original retail price and the actual selling price.

All remaining balances will be processed as an in-store Credit Voucher (valid for 6 months from the date of issue) Refunds will be issued the same way as the initial payment method made. All cash payments will be electronically transferred if no cash is available at the time of refund.

Refunds and exchanges can only be given where goods are faulty, wrongly described, or don't do what they are supposed to.

Returns Policy Home Wares and Accessories(AFTER GOODS HAVE BEEN TAKEN)

This policy includes homewares, accessories, cushions, plants, artwork, all mirror products including console, side tables mirrors etc.

Full priced home wares and accessories can be exchanged/refunded if the following conditions are met;

  • Items must be in unused, original condition and packaging. This includes all the packaging.
  • The original Adore store receipt must be presented.
  • The items must be returned within 7 days of purchase.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any exchange/return on sale home wares or items that don’t meet the criteria.

Returns Policy on Furniture Items (AFTER GOODS HAVE BEEN TAKEN)

This policy covers all furniture items unless listed above in our homewares and accessory policy.Please choose all other items carefully as there is no exchange or refunds provided where you have simply changed your mind, made wrong selection, or purchased an unsuitable gift.We recommend you carefully view all furniture items in store to ensure they are suitable as we do not offer returns or exchange after items have been collected/delivered.

Delivery of Goods

  • All Items must be inspected thoroughly upon delivery.
  • Once inspected and you are satisfied with the condition of your goods, sign the received in good order section on the delivery invoice. Once the delivery invoice is signed that goods are received in a satisfactory condition. It is deemed that any damage or defeat after this period may not have occurred in the transportation of the item. Adore Home Living reserve the right to inspect the issue raised and determine the outcome accordingly.
  • If you notice that an item is damaged after it has been delivered to you, please take photos or video clearly showing the damage and contact us within 24hrs of receiving your delivery. Failure to report this issue within this time frame may result in Adore Home Living is not liable for any faults reported after this time frame. (Manufacturing faults excluded)
  • All couriers where possible will photograph or do a video recording of delivered items upon arrival at your home. This is to determine that items are received in satisfactory condition.
